Open Data on Africa

Why do we all have a tendency to complain about the lack of statistics on Africa when Open Data Africa exists?

I love data, I’ve been compulsively collecting urls for as long as I can remember.
After my unsatisfying first attempt at sharing sources (databases on Africa), I looked for a tool to do it better; I was never happy until I found visual.ly – hands down the best thing out there to make lists.
On this link, “Open Data Africa“, you will find a comprehensive compilation of open data sources about Africa.
The best part? They are free and open to all!
As for all the resources on this blog, it will be updated regularly.
Enjoy!
And remember, we cannot complain about what they think of us until we start telling them about us.

A bientôt,
